Sarah Bye
BSc (Hons) Acupuncture
Lic Ac, Dip TN
MBAcC & AAC

ABOUT ME...

I have a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (Reading, UK).  This qualification means I use both Five Element (5E) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture, integrating these in treatment where appropriate.  I have also completed an in-depth study of Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) with an Apprenticeship, I mainly use this methodology in my approach to treatment.

I have a Diploma in Tui Na and can offer this as a standalone treatment or in combination with other modalities including guasha, cupping and moxa (a Chinese herb) to treat many complaints.

I am qualified in blood letting as a treatment to effect a change.

I am also a fully trained Toyohari practitioner.   This is a form of Japanese non-inserted needle technique using gold and silver needles for treatment.

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC).  I am bound by their high standards of hygiene and patient confidentiality.

Please give me a call to discuss how I can help you through acupuncture and these associated

therapies.

PHILOSOPHY
SERVICES
ACUPUNCTURE
ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE

The initial session can take up to two hours, during which I take down information to enable me to make a full traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and give your first treatment.  I use the information gathered to create a treatment plan specific to you.  Subsequent sessions last 45-60 minutes.

I use a combination of Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM), Traditional Chinese Medicine  (TCM), Five Element acupuncture (5E)

and/or Toyohari non-inserted needle technique, depending on the patients needs.

Electro-acupuncture is highly effective in treating musclo-skeletal problems.  It is used in conjunction with manual acupuncture to effect a change in the body, releasing stagnation, pain and restriction of movement.

TUINA (CHINESE MEDICAL MASSAGE)
PRICING

I have a diploma in Tui Na and treat both adults and children.  This treatment addresses all the issues that acupuncture does but without the use of needles although I sometimes combine both Tui Na and acupuncture to effect a change.
